AGE DETERMINATION
- The age as of date is 10/1/2010. Registrants MUST be 9 years old by
October 1, 2010.
- A 4-team minimum is required for each age group.
AGE GROUP BREAKDOWN
- Age groups are 9/10, 11/12, and 13/15.
REGISTRATION COST
- The fee covers the cost of the uniform, referee, equipment, and awards. The awards for all age groups will be 1st and 2nd season & tournament t-shirts as well as participation t-shirts.
UNIFORM
- T-shirts are provided and players provide the shorts.
PRACTICES
- Pre-season practices will begin the week of August 23rd with 2 or 3 practices per week. There will be 1 season practice per week after games begin.
GAMES
- Games will begin Saturday, September 4th. This is a 10 game season followed by a single elimination tournament. Games will be scheduled for one weeknight and on Saturday.
EQUIPMENT
- A pair of knee pads is recommended for each participant.
TEAM VOLUNTEERS
- Each team must provide a line person before the match. There must be one line person for each side. Lines person must not coach, talk with the players, nor call out directions to their team. The line person must be on the opponent’s side of the court.
- A volunteer from either team will need to keep the score clock.
EVALUATIONS
Players must be registered in the league in order to evaluate. No registrations will be taken at evaluations. Players need to attend only ONE evaluation. Evaluation attendance plays a very important role in team distribution.
