GIRLS VOLLEYBALL GENERAL INFORMATION

The girl’s volleyball program has 3 seasons a year. They are Spring, Summer and Fall. Each season has different ages that can participate.

SPRING SEASON INFORMATION 

• Ages that can participate: 9/10, 11/12, & 13/15 
• Age as of date is October 1st  of the previous year 
• Registration is typically the beginning of January 
• Evaluations typically follow registration. Two different days are offered for the players that may have a conflict with one day. 
• Practices typically begin the end of January. One practice during the week 
• Games typically begin the beginning of February. Play a 10 game season with games on weekends (Saturday OR Sunday) and on a weeknight 
• Game days ARE NOT determined until after registration ends, because of the unknown number of participants in an age group. 
• Scores and standings are kept
• Single elimination post season tournament 
• Awards: The 9/10 & 11/12 age groups will receive participation trophies and 1st and 2nd season and 1st and 2nd tournament trophies. The 13/15 age group will receive participation t-shirts and 1st or 2nd season T-shirt awards and 1st or 2nd tournament T-shirt awards. 
• T-shirts will be included in the price of registration.  Players are responsible for providing their own shorts.

SUMMER SEASON INFORMATION 

• Ages that can participate: 13/15 
• Age as of date is October 1st  of the current year 
• Registration is typically May/June 
• Evaluations typically follow registration. Two different days are offered for the players that may have a conflict with one day. 
• Practices typically begin early July. one practice during the week 
• Games typically begin early/mid July. Play a 9 game season with games on weekends (Saturday OR Sunday) and on a weeknight 
• Game days ARE NOT determined until after registration ends, because of the unknown number of participants in an age group. 
• Scores and standings are kept 
• Single elimination post season tournament 
• All players will receive participation t-shirts 
• 1st and 2nd season t-shirts & 1st and 2nd place tournament t-shirts are awarded.

FALL SEASON INFORMATION
